Are you a travel agent/advisor?

Yes, I am an independent travel advisor for Fora Travel. That means not only can I provide detailed itinerary planning services, but I am can book your hotels, tours, local transportation, etc.

What are the benefits of using a travel advisor?

As your travel advisor, I can help create a personalized, unique trip that you can’t get from an online booking engine. You’ll have a detailed itinerary crafted around your personality and travel style, without having to comb through mountains of information online and in travel books. Furthermore, I can hook you up with preferred partners that have been vetted for quality and provide perks you wouldn’t be able to obtain on your own. For hotels in particular, you will pay the same price you would if you were to book yourself, but for preferred partner hotels you’ll receive perks such as free breakfast, room upgrades, and more.

How much do your services cost, and what is included?

There is a flat fee of $250 per itinerary for trip planning services, up to a maximum of five nights in London. Each additional night is $25. You will have two 15-minute video calls with me to discuss your itinerary during the planning process, after completing some initial questions via email. You will receive a PDF file containing your detailed trip schedule (broken out in maximum 4-hr increments), hotel details, alternative/substitute activities, recommendations for meals each day (two recommendations for breakfast, three each for lunch and dinner), and packing list.

There is no additional cost for us to book hotels, tour, transportation, or dinner reservations on your behalf. Please reach out even if you are only looking for a single night hotel stay - you may benefit from additional free perks!

How long should I expect the process to take?

Once you have the dates for your trip established, you should have all of your bookings and full itinerary within two weeks.

Will you book my flights, hotels, tours, and transportation for me?

It is easiest for clients to book and manage their own flights. However, that is a service we provide for a $100 fee if desired.

For everything else - hotels, tours, etc., that is definitely part of our trip planning process. Typically when a travel advisor books these services, you do not pay any additional cost and you receive the same rate as you would find online yourself. Then, the travel advisor receives a commission from the hotel, tour group, etc. Frequently you’ll receive perks, especially at certain hotels, such as free breakfast and room upgrades, and you can rest easy knowing you are staying at preferred, vetted hotels. Of course, you also save yourself the time and hassle of finding, booking, and managing these reservations yourself - as your travel advisor I work directly with the hotel to make sure everything is ready for you and your trip goes smoothly.

You are of course welcome to book your own accommodations and activities, and just retain Black Cab Travel’s services for itinerary planning only.
